Each year, we add more than 900 million toothpaste tubes around the world to landfills and oceans. Standard tubes cannot be recycled and are made up of 11 layers of plastics, polymers and resins, which take over 500 years to break down. This means that every toothpaste tube ever created is still in the landfill somewhere.

Xylitol, Dicalcium Phosphate, Flavour, SM Cocoyl Taurate, Menthol, Sodium Bicarbonate, Spearmint Leaf (Mentha Spicata Leaf Extract), Sodium Fluoride, Silicon Dioxide.

Our free shipping is standard through Canada Post which is 3 to 9 business days.  If you would like your order sooner, you can choose an expedited option for an additional fee.  

Returns

We believe in doing what is right for every situation.  Though we prefer not to accept returns due to another truck hitting the highway, we will weigh the best option based on the particular situation.  If an item shows up broken, please take a picture and send it to hello@rootsrefillery.com.  We will then refund your method of payment for the broken product.  We do our best to carefully pack each order but bumps and tumbles are part of life.

I absolutely love this format for toothpaste. I was always concerned about the amount of packaging that comes from toothpaste. I was so impressed by the taste and texture of the toothpaste that I bought more. I’m a huge fan! I used to find that my nose would burn when I brushed my teeth but now it just doesn’t! I love the option of just buying what I need at a reasonable cost too!
