We find citric acid in the food industry as well as in cosmetics. Citric acid holds a place of choice in every home for cleaning, descaling and more. It is mainly used to descale household appliances, remove limescale from bathrooms and toilets, oh and making those bath bombs with the kids :)

Price is per 100 grams.  If you would like more than 100 grams, please add multiples to your shopping cart.  Example:  If you would like 300 grams, add 3 of this item

Your Citric Acid will be delivered in a sterlized container.

Our free shipping is standard through Canada Post which is 3 to 9 business days.  If you would like your order sooner, you can choose an expedited option for an additional fee.

Returns

We believe in doing what is right for every situation.  Though we prefer not to accept returns due to another truck hitting the highway, we will weigh the best option based on the particular situation.  If an item shows up broken, please take a picture and send it to hello@rootsrefillery.com.  We will then refund your method of payment for the broken product.  We do our best to carefully pack each order but bumps and tumbles are part of life.

Thank you for supporting our business, we appreciate you!

So many uses!

Hi, I'm known as Citric Acid girl around Roots! Ha ha! This simple powder is what keeps me sane at my house. I have terrible well water, that's the reality of rural life. Orange is the new black? No! Rusty orange sucks! The toilets are orange, my dishes turn orange, our clothes... You get the picture. A Tbsp in the kids bath water keeps the water clear. Add a Tbsp in a rinse cycle after running the dishwasher whitened my Corelle again and keeps my glasses spotless. A pinch in the dish water helps the soap work better. A small scoop in the washing machine keeps our clothes from looking so grungey. A couple Tbsp's in the toilet overnight makes the bowl look new again. I make a cleaning spray with citric acid and a few drops of lemon and peppermint essential oil that works amazing! I use it to spray down the shower after use to keep water deposits and orange at bay, and smelling nice and fresh. So many uses! You'll be hauling your big pickle jars in too!
